Review on RRB NTPC 2016 Exam held on 28.03.16

Railway Recruitment Board has just conducted today the 1st day of NTPC 2016 online test (CEN- 03/2015). Now its time to give today's exam review and analysis.

The overall question paper was quite easy to moderate. There are total 100 questions in the paper. We have given here the subject-wise analysis. Happy Reading!


Subject-wise analysis on RRB NTPC 2016 online exam held on 28.03.2016

There are three sections- Math, Reasoning and General Awareness (including general science and current affairs). Now lets go for subject-wise review.

Mathematics : This section was easy to moderate. Questions were asked from Data Interpretation, Profit & Loss, Time & work, Ratio & Proportion, Simple Interest & Compound Interest, Simplification.


Reasoning: This portion was quite easy and few questions were lengthy. Questions were from Blood relation, syllogism, analogy, classification, sitting arrangement, Statement & conclusion etc.


General Awareness (including GS & Current Affairs) : The GA section was moderate. Maximum questions were asked from railway budget, current affairs, history, geography, polity. We will be discussing later general awareness questions asked in today's exam.


Our Suggestions - You need to give importance in general awareness section as it will play a key role in this exam. RRB always concentrate on GA portion as usual. Candidates score average marks in Math and Reasoning sections. But scores in GA will surely make a difference. Scoring between 75-80 is a good chance to be in the next stage.

RRB NTPC 2016 Exam Venue changed for WB Candidates

A big relief to all the candidates belongs to West Bengal who have applied for RRB NTPC 2016 exam. Railway recruitment board has released an official notification regarding changing of exam centres for the candidates belongs to WB.


What was actually happened to RRB Kolkata & Siliguri Candidates?

Few days back, when RRB issued the call letters to all candidates who applied for RRB NTPC 2016 exam, it was seen that candidates particularly from West Bengal got their exam venues in other states although they have opted exam centres in WB. As a result, a massive protest has been organized in front of the RRB Kolkata Office. RRB Kolkata had to change their mind!


Exam Centres has been reschedule - Official Notification released

Today i.e. on 18th March, 2016 RRB Kolkata and RB Siliguri have released an official notice regarding the rescheduling of exam venues for the candidates who got their exam centres in other states. The candidates who have opted their exam venues in WB (five choices were there), but could not be accommodated with those opted choice of cities, have been rescheduled for online exam. Candidates need not to apply for the changes of exam centres. It will be automatically rescheduled by the railway recruitment board.



When will the new revised call letter be issued?

Well, the board has also mentioned that the candidates will be intimated through SMS or Email after rescheduling. After getting the confirmation message about rescheduling, they are required to download the revised admit card for RRB NTPC 2016 exam.

Link of Rail NTPC 2016 Call Letter goes off

Railway Recruitment Board is proudly doing some disgusting jobs at this time. Today few hours back they have activated the download link of call letter for Non-Technical Posts recruitment exam. But after a while the download link went off.


Whatever they have set the exam centres of some candidates are really annoying. Candidates got their exam centres that are in another states. May be for that reason, they have deactivated the download link of admit card. The download link will be again available from 14th March, 2016.


The online exam is likely to be held on 30.04.2016.

Waiting for Rail NTPC 2015-16 call letter? Railway recruitment board has today issued the admit cards for online exam for the recruitment of non-technical posts. The exam will be held on 30th April, 2016 across the country. Download your admit cards for Railway NTPC 2016 online test.


How to download call letter for Railway NTPC 2016 online exam?

To get your exam's call letter, visit the login page and put User ID and User Password. Your user id is your Registration Number and password is your Date of Birth. Instructions to download admit card is given below (see the image below).






















After successful login, you will find a box 'Assessment'. Select the assessment. After that you will able to download your admit card.

Name of the post : Inspector of Drugs under Directorate of Drugs control

Age Limit : Candidates should not be aged more than 35 years as on 1st January,2016.

Qualification : Candidates should have a Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by Law.

Experience : Candidates should have 5 years experience of work in recognized institutions in the manufacture or testing of drugs or enforcement of the provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (23 of 1940 ).

How to apply : Candidates may apply through online mode of application. There is no other mode of application that will be accepted.

WBSSC LDC/LDA 2015-16 Revised Notification

West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) has just released a revised advertisement for the recruitment of Lower Division Assistant / Lower Division Clerk. Earlier WBSSC published an advertisement for the recruitment of 599 LDA/ LDC on 27.11.15. Now at this 534 more LDA/ LDC vacancies have been added with the previous vacancies. As a result total of 1133 vacancies are available.


Those who applied earlier should have to apply again?

Well, those candidates who applied earlier after releasing notification published on 27th November, 2015, need not to apply again. Applications against both notification will be combined. 

Age Limit: Between 18 to 40 years as on 01.01.16.

Last of receiving online applications - 22.03.2016

Date of Part-I Exam : 5th June, 2016 (Revised Date).
