SSC CGL 2015 Notification in May: Tier-I Exam in August

Good News for SSC CGL aspirants! Staff Selection Commission has notified officially that the advertisement of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2015 exam will be released in the month of May. The written exam of CGl 2015 Tier-I will be held tentatively on 9th & 16th August, 2015. The official notification of SSC CGL 2015 recruitment exam is going to be released officially on May 2, 2015. The procedure of online application will be available till 1st June.

WB School Service Commission's New 'Controversial' Rule

West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has incorporated new rules for interview in Assistant Teacher recruitment. According to the new rule, for each 100 posts, only 110 candidates will be called for interview. This rule has created a controversy.  Now let's see what will be the effect of this new 'controversial' rule introduced by WB School Service Commission.


Will this new rule effect on the recruitment of assistant teacher?

Yes, it will. We have already called it as a controversial rule. Because, most of the shortlisted candidates called for the interview will be confirmed to be selected in final merit list. Then there will be no value of the interview. In general, the interview is a game changer. If one candidates doesn't perform well in written exam, there is a chance for him/ her to make up in the interview. But as per the new rule, this won't be. 


What was the previous rule of WB School Service Commission? Why these changes?

For each two vacant post, total three candidates will be called for the interview. But suddenly why this change has been made? According to the official of the Department of Education, WB, candidates whose name in the merit list are not provisionally selected. As a result, they protest for this reason. But it is seen that in some subjects where huge vacancies are there, but no efficient candidates and in other side where  there is no vacancy but lots of candidates are in merit list. As a result the Government faces problem. So, WBSSC has decided to make this change in new rule.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published today marks of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2014 Tier-I exam. CGL 2014 Tier-I exam was held on 19th and 26th October, 2014. The result of Tier-I exam was declared on March 5, 2014. SS has already announced to conduct CGL 2014 Tier-II exam on 11th & 12th April. Now finally they released the CGl 2014 Tier-I scores.

SSC CGL 2013 Revised Final Result declared

ssc cgl resultGood news! Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared today revised final result result of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2013 re-exam. Earlier SSC declared CGL 2013 final result on 12th March, 2015. But after declaration of result, some discrepancies have been found in the result because of system error. As a result SSC got thousands of complaints from the candidates. Now the revised result has come!

In revised result, 15146 candidates have been provisionally selected. The category-wise candidates have been appointed are as follows-

  • UR/ Gen - 7661
  • OBC - 4022
  • SC - 2407
  • ST - 1056

Good News for all SSC CGL 2013 aspirants who are eagerly waiting for the result! Today stay order on SSC CGL 2013 re-exam's result has just been vacated.  Allahabad High Court has given order for the removal of stay order from the result. It's really a very good news and hope for the aspirants.

WBSSC CGL 2015 Date won't be changed: Chairman

Many aspirants who are eagerly waiting to know whether the date of West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2015 exam will be changed or not. Since the date of WBSSC CGL 2015 exam has been clashed with Central Staff Selection Commission (SSC) CGL Tier-II exam. The both exams have been scheduled to be held on 12th April, 2015. WBSSC announced date of CGL 2015 exam few month back. Now suddenly SSC has announced to conduct CGL Tier-II exam on the same day.


Today WBSSC Chairman tweeted that it is not possible to change the CGL exam date. Let's see what actually the Chairman posted on twitter. (See the snapshot of his tweet post given below)















So friends, WBSSC CGL 2015 exam is going to be held on April 12. Exam is knocking at the door. Start preparing well from now.

West Bengal State Electricity Board Ltd. (WBSEDCL) has declared today the result of written exam for the recruitment of Office Executive and Junior Executive (Finance) posts in 2015. Result of SSC CGL 2014 Tier-I Exam declared

ssc cgl resultGood News! Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has finally declared the result of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2014 Tier-I exam. The CGL Tier-I exam was held on October 19, 26 and November 16, 2014. The re-exam of Tier-I was conducted at some centres of Jaipur on 18the January, 2015.A total of 1301391 candidates appeared for the Tier-I exam out of which 142642 have qualified for Tier-II exam (Paper-I and Paper-II). 77577 candidates have qualified for Paper-III (Statistics).

The cutoff marks have also been released. The category-wise cutoff marks of SSC CGL 2014 Tier-I exam are given below-
  • Gen/ UR - 96.50
  • OBC - 82
  • SC - 77
  • ST - 69.50
  • Ex.S - 62

4. School Inspector : Masters’ Degree in any discipline and (B.Ed.)From a recognized University or equivalent (N.C.T.E. approved) and knowledge of Bengali spoken and written.


Application fees : General & OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 150 for Application fees with processing charge Rs. 50/ & SC and ST, PWD candidates have to pay only processing charge Rs. 50. through online or offline mode of transaction.
