Few trained candidates submitted petitions to court for challenging the board's decision to allow untrained candidates to appear for the primary TET 2013 exam citing the reason that according to National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), for primary TET exam, D.Ed degree is compulsory on or after 01.04.2014. However, the court has allowed the board to conduct the 30th March TET exam on condition that the results won't be published till the disposal of this case and candidates who have D.Ed pass certificate must be given priority. All untrained candidates must have to be recruited only after all D.Ed passed candidates are appointed.
What after the publication of WB Primary TET 2013-14 result?
Well, after the publication of TET result, all successful candidates will be given a pass certificate which will have maximum 7-years validity. Within this period, candidates are required to appear for only interview; no need to write the test. All untrained candidates can get admission to get D.Ed degree within two years.
Admit Card for WB Primary TET 2013 exam: Candidates will able to get the call letter for TET exam from Tuesday i.e. 25th March, 2014. On the admit card, the time, venue of primary TET 2013 will be provided.
So friends, be prepared well for the 30th March's exam. All the Best!
Update: Primary TET 2013-14 exam has been postponed. It will be held in mid of June, 2014.
